Easy Chicken Teriyaki Shawns

4 Servings

4 chicken thigh, Boneless
1 Green pepper, Sliced
1 Medium Onion, Sliced
1/2 Cup mushrooms, Sliced
1 Tsp Olive oil
1/2 Cup Water
1/3 Cup Soy sauce
1/3 Cup Honey
1 Tsp Garlic (minced and heaping)
1 Tbl Brown sugar
1 Tbl ginger (or t minced), Dried

Cook your chicken. I did it in the oven with a bit of poultry seasoning on it
(NO SALT due to the soy sauce) Let it rest for about 10 mins so it's
yummy. Cut into strips or chunks or shred whatever you want.

While chicken is cooking mix everything else toegtehr in a bowl.

Put oil in a pan, cook mushrooms onion and green pepper until onions
are shiny and translusent but not over cooked.

Throw the chicken in the pan dump in the sauce and cook until it
thickens, if you want it a bit thicker use 1 teaspoon of corn starch
and cold water and stir in (after it's been simmering about 20 mins
already)

Serve over white rice.Main Page
